什么是拜日式?

拜日式梵文名叫做Surya Namaskara,英文名则叫Sun Salutation。 没有太阳,地球上将没有生命。古代时候人们会以拜日式向太阳致敬, 太阳是地球所有生命形式的源泉。 这既是一种身体的仪式规则,也是很多的瑜伽者对自然的光明充的祈祷和向往。经过演变的拜日式一共12个姿势; 代表12个宇宙原素如灵魂、地、水、火、风、虚空、得、失、苦、乐、生、死。

拜日式是一种深入内在开发自性潜能的合理运动。 它在于一个呼吸配合一个动作,是呼吸,身体及思维同步的动作。使用特定的胜利呼吸法(Ujjayi Pranayama)、凝视法(Dhistri)及腹部收束法(Uddiyana Bandha)来进行。 这是对呼吸和身体动作的同步冥想。

为什么学做拜日式?

What is Sun Salutation?

Sun Salutation or Surya Namaskara (name in Sanskrit name) is a series of poses performed in a sequence to create a flow of movement. Sun Salutation has evolved over the years to become a series of 12 postures performed in a single, graceful flow. Each movement is coordinated with the breath. Inhale as you extend or stretch, and exhale as you fold or contract. 

Why do Sun Salutation?

A continuous practice of Sun Salutations will bring more strength, flexibility, and tone to the body. It will open the hamstrings, shoulders, and the chest, as well as release tension. As you move through the poses, you are also lubricating the joints, in turn aiding in keeping the full range of motion in the body.

Why need to practice Sun Salutation in 108 rounds?

This practice is linked to the Hindu belief that 108 is a sacred number: there 108 Upanishads (Hindu spiritual texts), 108 names for Hindu deities, 108 sacred points on the body (marma points), and 108 sacred sites in India (pithas), AND…the distance between the sun and the earth is 108 times the sun’s diameter.

Can I join if I never practice yoga before?

This workshop is recommended for beginner as Sun Salutation is a beginner friendly yoga practice. Therefore, beginners should participate in this workshop and let our experience instructor lead you to do 108 rounds of sun salutation together which can burn more than 1500 calories through this 2-hour workshop!
